Kane County Planning and Zoning Commission met March 11, 2026, and approved a commercial conditional-use permit allowing a resort building roof to reach 49 feet (with fire-safety conditions), a revision recognizing historic livestock trails as established roadways, and a C1→C2 zone-change for a commercial parcel; the commission kept the existing conditional-use approach for roof-height exceptions and tabled an update to the county general plan for further review.
