Flathead County commissioners met Jan. 29 to hear public comment on dusty McManamey Draw roads, accept a $1,000 donation to the animal shelter, table emergency communications board appointments, award multiple road-oil bids, review solid-waste biosolids planning and hear the county treasurer's quarterly investment report. Several routine land-use items were approved and a taxpayer abatement request was denied.
