The Posey County Commissioners met in a closed executive session on Jan. 21, 2026, at the Hovey House in Mt. Vernon to discuss potential litigation, collective bargaining, security systems, purchase or lease of real property, county personnel matters, classified records and negotiations with an industrial prospect under I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(h). The session ran from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.; no final action was taken.
