At a Feb. 17 Fulton County Council meeting, members unanimously approved hiring Baird as investment manager/trustee for the sheriff's retirement fund, tabled an additional appropriation for Mud Lake drainage work until state agencies and the contractor explain costs and permitting, agreed to pursue a Baker Tilly long-term bond plan, and approved several routine transfers and appropriations.
