Gibson County commissioners held a routine meeting that approved several budget advertisements and additional appropriations, authorized $35,000 from the safety tax to hardwire a new ambulance base, approved temporary coverage for an attorney cost for the remainder of the year, appointed two representatives to the redevelopment commission and heard multiple public comments about the TIP district, housing costs and public safety.
