At its Feb. 27, 2026 regular meeting in Athens, the McMinn County Board of Commissioners approved a set of contract amendments and operating leases, accepted multiple state and federal grants, and adopted a package of budget amendments including $800,000 for road paving and an opioid-settlement reserve. The meeting also approved notary applications and adjourned at 11:14 a.m.
