The Alaska Senate Finance Committee held hearings March 23, 2026, on SB 163 to repeal certain inactive funds and accounts and SB 246 to update regulation of architects, engineers, surveyors and to create a pathway to registration for interior designers. Both bills were introduced, received invited and public testimony, and were set aside for further consideration.
