Sevier County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Jan. 12, 2026, reorganized leadership, approved routine consent items (minutes, payments, hires, licenses, board appointments) and set public hearings for Jan. 26. Commissioners also approved an engineering feasibility study for potential rail service near Big Rock Candy Mountain and accepted a condensed Sheriff Office Emergency Operations Plan.
