At its March 17, 2026 meeting the Marshall County Fiscal Court heard a jailer warn that state inmates and delayed prosecutions are straining the county jail budget, adopted Ordinance 2026-01 updating parts of the administrative code (including a comp-time/overtime change), and approved office space for a state-funded case navigator under Senate Bill 90 along with routine hires, surpluses and transfers.
