The Senate Elections Committee heard testimony and advanced two measures: SR 5, a nonbinding resolution urging a constitutional amendment to give states and Congress clearer authority to regulate campaign spending, and SB 25, a technical bill to standardize ballot order for school board candidates after last year's change to optional partisan school boards. Both measures were recommended by the committee on unanimous voice/roll calls.
