At its March 2, 2026 meeting in Jasper, the Walker County Commission approved a series of routine and project actions — including a contingent award for a Yerkwood community safe room, a transfer of EMA equipment to a volunteer rescue group, an ATRP2 road agreement, website ADA contract, appointments and two hires — then adjourned into executive session to discuss pending litigation.
