At its spring 2026 budget hearing, the Pulaski County budget committee heard from Comptroller Mike Hutchens about an audit RFQ, a proposed constitutional amendment (SJR 15/Senate Bill 647) that would create economic development districts, and staff proposals on spousal health coverage and a salary study; the committee voted to postpone decisions on spousal coverage and on personnel requests until the fall budget hearings.
