Chair Keenan Ryan opened the April 14 meeting, announced attendees including commissioners Steve Roberts, Noel Cooley, Alisa Davidson, council member Mark Malstrom and recorder Sheila Lind, excused Troy Wakefield, and led the pledge of allegiance.
River Heights Planning Commission spent the April 14, 2026 meeting continuing a line-by-line review of a draft accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ordinance and approved a conditional use permit for Katie and Michael King to operate children’s classes in Room 11 of the old school building. Commissioners agreed on multiple wording, occupancy, setback, utilities and rental-term changes and directed staff to produce a revised draft for attorney and engineering review.
