At its April meeting, the Clay County Board of Education heard public comments about a reported on-campus drug incident and received a multi-stakeholder presentation on student safety and response measures; the board also reviewed construction change orders for the new intermediate school, approved several contracts and budget amendments, and amended a prior recommendation on surplus property sales.
