Laredo City Council met May 5 to conduct routine business, recognize local youth groups, hear a range of public comments focused on the recent failed bond, approve a multi-year renovation plan and first-year funding for the Sames Auto (Sames) Arena, receive a clean FY2024 audit, discuss policies for vendors and bulky-item pickups, and review multiple water and sewer capital projects and secondary-water planning.
