The Rutherford County Department of Social Services board met May 29 to review personnel and service reports, discuss a state memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of Health and Human Services that directors said includes a retroactive date and a two-year term, and hear updates on foster care costs, Medicaid expansion, staffing and the recent death of a food-nutrition employee.
