The Bangor Homeless Advisory Committee heard an extended public comment period with residents and service providers urging more coordinated strategy on homelessness, including calls for an overdose prevention center, improved data/dashboarding and better outreach to people with high-acuity mental-health needs. The committee agreed to gather and circulate three outside plans, consider a public dashboard and build a road map ahead of its next meeting.
